Anthony was born and raised in the Phoenix area as the
youngest of four siblings. Yes, that’s right, he’s an Arizona native as
are his siblings and dad (mom was born in Hawaii).
Although he was very active in two churches growing up (a United
Methodist church and a Southern Baptist church), he did not know God’s
plans for him to become a minister until his freshman year of college.
In 1996, Anthony received Probationary Membership in the
Desert
Southwest Annual Conference and was ordained elder in 2001.
In June of 2003, Anthony married Katherine Ziegler Tang
and they now reside in Tempe with their dogs Sophie,
Bailey and Pecas (Spanish for freckles or
spots!) |
